Chiratae Ventures is hiring for the role of Analyst, Investments!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Generate and Source  Exciting Start-ups: Meet entrepreneurs, and network with VC funds, micro-funds, and angels to generate consistent and quality deal flow
• Assist Investment Professionals in analyzing deals with secondary research through business diligence through a mix of primary/secondary research
• Understand financial statements/ MIS etc. Ability to hold conversations with multiple stakeholders for the diligence of startups across multiple sectors
• Build Investment thesis via a combination of bottoms-up leg work as well as top-down structuring
• Contribute to specific firm-level initiatives like Sonic, Spotlight, and similar initiatives as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering from top-tier Engineering Colleges
  
• Up to 2 years of experience in VC, start-ups, consulting, or established tech companies
  
• First principles thinker
  
• Passionate about the venture capital and start-up ecosystem
  
• Strong team player skills with a hustling mindset
  
• Strong analytical ability; understanding of financial statements and business metrics
  
• Excellent communication and good networking skills
  
• High standards of work ethic in terms of perseverance and commitment
