HSBC is hiring for the role of Investigations Controls Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide full governance, MI, and administrative support to Investigations Control Management (ICM) Governance Management
• Meeting papers reviews, agenda items and MI collation for meetings and pack creation for applicable governance meetings
• Minute taking, timely distribution of minutes to Committee Members
• Diary management – meetings organized, rooms booked and diary invites managed
• All action items are monitored as appropriate, timely chasers and escalations, and advising manager of progress
• Support Senior Investigations Manager Case Workflow System in Managing the appropriate approvals for all non-FCI applicant’s access requests to FCI case management systems and for FCI applicants’ requests for cross-border, Confidential permissions
• Help process different Investigations SharePoint accesses
• Mailbox maintenance and inquiries are directed as appropriate to other members of the management team
• Ensure good practices in the management of meetings, template standards and frameworks
• Any other ad hoc projects or priorities identified by the Senior Investigations Managers

Requirements:

• Strong governance background, adhering to policies and assessing the impact of external and internal environment
• Strong written skills and attention to detail, experience in writing and communicating governance documents and activities
• Strong analytical, organizational and delivery skills, resourceful, creative and adept at solving complex issues
• Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to quickly build and maintain effective relationships – functional and geographical
• Ability to work independently and prioritize, experience working under pressure and with meeting deadlines
• Highly motivated and autonomous with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Awareness of the regulatory and in-house operating environment and potential impact on the function
