Flipkart is hiring for the role of Inventory Management Lead!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- You will be the primary owner of product availability for a set of categories across our dark store network.
- Your core responsibility is to ensure customers always find what they are looking for by maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing stock-outs, and improving forecasting accuracy.
- Design, implement, and refine scalable processes to manage inventory flow from our fulfillment centers to dark stores.
- It includes creating robust replenishment models, setting inventory norms (min,max levels), and ensuring exceptional stock accuracy at each location.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Product, Tech, and Business Finance.
- You will identify and analyze key inventory loss buckets such as spoilage, damage, and pilferage, and drive projects to systematically reduce wastage and improve overall profitability.
Requirements:
- You possess a strong desire to learn and understand the 'why' behind the numbers.
- You're proactive in exploring complex problems, questioning assumptions, and seeking innovative solutions to improve inventory health.
- You are highly proficient in handling large datasets to derive meaningful insights.
- Strong experience with SQL, Advanced Excel,R and data visualization tools is essential.
- You must be comfortable translating complex analysis into clear, actionable strategies.
- You are a natural team player with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- You can effectively work with diverse teams, articulate your ideas clearly, and influence others to drive projects to successful completion.
