Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop and maintain a risk-based internal audit plan that aligns with organizational goals, emerging risks, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, streamline operations, and enhance the overall control environment
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls, identify control gaps, and provide recommendations for remediation
• Prepare detailed audit work papers and documentation, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations for corrective actions
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and track progress toward resolution
• Conduct forensic analysis of financial transactions, identifying irregularities, potential fraud, or unusual patterns, and recommend appropriate actions
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of the Internal Financial Controls (IFC) framework, identifying control gaps and weaknesses, and providing recommendations for strengthening controls
• Develop and maintain a risk-based internal audit plan that aligns with organizational goals, emerging risks, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, streamline operations, and enhance the overall control environment
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and track progress toward resolution
• Developing Policies and SOPs

Requirements:

• CA with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Internal Audit
• Hands-on experience in control testing – IFC/Sox
• Ability to handle large data
• Policies and SOP preparation
• Strong stakeholder management skills and assertively manage expectations and collaboration
• Strong capability to understand business problems in the context of an Omni Channel Retail
