Verizon is hiring for the role of Analyst-Internal Audi!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assisting in planning Internal control reviews including vendor reviews to arrive at the comprehensive annual review plan.
• Performing risk based internal reviews on assigned G & A (General & Administration) processes over Finance, HR, Payroll, Sourcing, Legal etc. including vendor reviews in a timely, effective manner using standardized templates, data analytics and stakeholder engagements to evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of the controls and provide assurance to management.
• Preparing reports articulating the gaps identified, their root cause and suggest best practices / automation solutions as recommendations for fixing them. Also, ensure the gaps identified are resolved by stakeholders on a timely basis.
• Maintaining an active repository of all observations raised, to track them until closure and for reporting purposes.
• Assisting in process re-engineering activities to implement the concept of controls by design.
• Assisting in program managing IFC (Internal financial controls) , including review and re-validation of IFC controls to enable adherence to the regulatory requirement on IFC.
• Program managing policy and process change management to ensure all documents are current, approved and available in common repository
• Assisting in facilitating the Verizon Annual Internal Audit exercise.
• Supporting the team /process on any additional requirements which might arise depending on business needs/management requisites
• Assisting in implementation of continuous monitoring initiatives which involves data analytics using standardized templates to supplement the assurance provided to Management.
• Assisting in preparing management reports (MIS) regarding all Internal Control programs to enable executive reviews on monthly basis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with one or more years of work experience.
• Experience in process reviews & process re-engineering
