Intern – User Research and Analysis

We are looking for interns who are passionate about doing research that will shape the employability landscape of the blue/ grey collar workforce. The chosen interns will engage with the employees of Betterplace's Enterprise Skilling clients, and lead a series of interviews with them which will offer insights into the career needs, learning paths and product engagement choices of the workers.

what we’re looking for -

A passion for field research and insights analysis

Skills in research methodologies like FGD, in-depth interviews, surveys, and analysis.

Ability to listen to blue/ grey collar learner challenges and ask follow-up questions.

Deep empathy and curiosity to know the blue-collar ecosystem better.

Strong communication skills, and ability to speak regional languages like Hindi, or Marathi, or Kannada, along with English.

Ability to collate, organize and process data.

Willingness to go out in the field – this is not a digital internship.

Individuals who are pursuing or have completed their degrees in BSW/ MSW, Psychology, Sociology or BBA/ MBA.

what you’ll do

Work with the Betterplace’s Skilling team to understand client ecosystems and the problem statements that blue-collar workers experience.

Co-design the user research methodology and questionnaires.

Along with other team members, spend time at the office locations of our clients, and interact with blue-collar workers – host FGDs, lead in-depth interviews, conduct surveys.

Record the research raw data, responses, interviews and store them in accessible drives.

Analyse the data to cull out trends, themes and compare data from across organizations to draw insights.

Present insights in a consumable format – PPT, excel etc.

Write one report that describes the scope of study and insights gathered.

On successful completion of the internship, Betterplace will offer a “Letter of Accomplishment” along with a recommendation from the Project Lead.

location of the internship: Bangalore, Delhi, or Mumbai (Note: Individuals must already be living in the mentioned cities preferably, travel expenses will be covered on actual as reimbursement.)
