GlobalFoundaries is hiring for the role of Engineer Integration Engineering!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level microservices and applications using Software AG WebMethods platform, with focus on low-code solutions.
• Architect and implement robust integration solutions to connect various Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), applications and other enterprise services.
• Experience with relational databases like Oracle, MariaDB, & Redshift along with their development tools.
• Develop web applications using Angular Framework to manage business processes, tailored to in-house needs and to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain and support the refactoring of existing Angular applications and backend services to ensure they are up-to-date, performant, and aligned with business needs.
• Build and maintain full-stack applications using Agile practices for effective and timely project delivery, mainly with Angular for the front-end and WebMethods for the back-end services.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolutions to technical challenges.
• Experience with Git version control for continuous CI/CD improvements and code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and efficient deployment processes.
• Collaborate with user community, developer team, administrators, and other internal IT groups to provide reliable software solutions.
• Develop detailed analysis documents, design plans, and review materials for projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in using WebMethods or similar integration technologies for developing and deploying low-code solutions.
• Expertise in web development Single Page Applications using frameworks like Angular.
• Proficiency in essential languages, including HTML, SCSS, Typescript.
• Development experience with designing and implementing services, including REST APIs and JSON structures.
• Strong skills in writing, optimizing queries and managing databases in Oracle SQL and MariaDB.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and experience in one of the OOP languages like Java, PHP or Python.
• Deep understanding of SOLID principles in software programming and system design patterns would be additional benefits.
• Knowledge of the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP/Python) is an additional benefit.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, other GLOBALFOUNDRIES’ stakeholders in fluent written and verbal English.
