Instructional Designer Job in Bangalore at Lumen Technologies

Lumen is hiring for the role of Instructional Designer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• The primary focus of this job is to develop courseware and materials from storyboards provided by senior members of the team.
• Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer and enhances the learning process.
• Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product.
• Develop and maintain online learning materials.
• Develop training manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.
• Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.)
• Under the direction of a supervisor, works independently to create materials grounded in best practices in technology.
• Effectively integrate the best practices of instructional design and instructional technology using multimedia, software, programming, and art technology.

Requirements:

• 1 - 3 years of experience in instructional design/technology or related field.
• Experience developing learning content using interactive instructional multimedia.
• Experience with online training development tools like Articulate Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Vyond.
• Experience with online publishing standards including SCORM/AICC. 
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
• Forward-thinking to identify potential issues and/or risks to be resolved or minimized.
