Warner Bros. Discovery is hiring for the role of Ingest & QC Technician!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Perform Quality assurance on media. An experienced media expert is required to conduct quality assurance on inbound and outbound media for company media compliance.
• Perform Material format conversion or rendering following Company/department-established procedures.
• Complete additional media processing activities such as technical edits in Adobe Premiere, multiplexing of audio tracks, segmentation against company guidelines, subtitle operations, and media delivery to playout and affiliates.
• Generate low-bit rate proxy files for export to third-party studios and transmission. The individual will be required to transform the company media format file into lower bit rate files.  
• Input media asset metadata into company systems (traffic system/media asset management system etc).  The individual is expected to input media-related data into the system for other department usage.  
• Perform Ad hoc materials support and troubleshooting across daily operations and ad hoc projects.

Requirements: 

• Diploma or equivalent experience in the Media or Engineering Field
• Broad knowledge and experience in Media operations is essential
• Years of experience: 1-2 years experience in Media industry
• Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience working with a broadcast MAM system
• Experience in media QC standards
• Ability to Understand analogue and digital media
• Ability to acquire new technology and workflow
• Able to operate a computer and other media operations-related equipment
• Above average skills in Result oriented and self-motivated
• Experience working with a traffic/ channel management system
