Infrastructure Engineer - AVP (Cloud & On-Prem) Job in Bengaluru at Natwest Group

Natwest is hiring for the role of Infrastructure Engineer - AVP (Cloud & On-Prem)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop technical skills through continuous learning and development
• Work within a team to design intuitive, self-service infrastructure products
• Use automation to provide testing and a route to live for the product, working with customers to help them use our products appropriately i.e. through a users’ CI/CD pipeline
• Collaborate with Stakeholders to inform product roadmaps, detailing lifecycles of the technology from new products through to end of support and retirement
• Analysis and improvement of performance of the database, in collaboration with application developers
• Ensure stable delivery and operation of the database infrastructure (Primarily Oracle and AWS RDS with preference for MSSQL, AWS Aurora & PostgreSQL) cloud-based or on-prem

Requirements:

• Experience of working as Database Administrator for at least one specific DB technology with AWS RDS databases and necessary services in AWS
• Experience in setting up of resource monitoring with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and it’s analysis on Oracle database servers specific tools e.g. RMAN and Oracle RAC
• Experience of high availability solutions, disaster recovery, business continuity technologies and integration methodologies
• Experience of working with operating system like Solaris, Redhat & Windows Server
• Experienced in ITIL for Incident, Change and Problem Management
