Hyland is hiring for the role of 'Infrastructure Engineer 2'!

Responsibilities of the Candidiate:

• Design, build, and implement basic technology platforms and hybrid cloud solutions
• Safeguard the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the company's supported systems and data; collaborate on and execute basic improvements to maintain and achieve high security posture
• Design and implement solutions for backup and disaster recovery; participate in the testing and execution of disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues and outages; perform problem-solving, root-cause, and post-mortem analyses to drive process improvements
• Document the design, operation, procedures, and troubleshooting of implemented solutions and technology platforms; compose training materials and conduct training sessions with stakeholders 
• Participate in audits of servers and environment to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines 
• Collaborate on best practices, standards, and processes for design and administration of systems and solutions
• Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and relevant work experience
• Experience as a Systems Engineer/Architect
• Experience working with hybrid cloud solutions
• Experience working with virtualization technologies
• Experience working with Windows and Linux server operating systems
• Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
• Good data gathering, interviewing, and analytical/problem solving skills
• Good customer service orientation
• Good interpersonal skills: able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
• Good attention to detail
• Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Experience working with Cisco UCS servers and NetApp storage
• Experience with scripting and automation - PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible
• Microsoft Windows or MacOS and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows network environments
• Up to 5% travel time required
