Siemens is hiring for the role of Infrastructure Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, implement, and manage virtualized environments, including resource allocation, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Utilize Ansible for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Implement Terraform configurations to build repeatable deployments.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues within the infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Build and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Collaborate with developers and operations teams to define and implement infrastructure best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in software infrastructure technologies.
• Document, communicate, and share knowledge effectively with your team.

Requirements:

• Looking for candidates who have completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Candidate should have experience in server administration, system engineering, or a similar role.
• Proven expertise in virtualization technologies, Ansible, Git, and Terraform.
• In-depth knowledge of Ansible for IaC automation and configuration management.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• We are looking for a candidate who has a strong understanding of containerization with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• We are looking for a candidate with 2+ years of experience.
