Infrastructure Engineer Internship in Pune at Barclays

Barclays is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Take responsibility for advising and recommending technical solutions based on experience and industry knowledge, focusing on requirements, and planning to meet client needs, which the job holder helps to identify.
• Design and implement monitoring solutions, focusing on proactive issues and problems detection and prevention.
• Drive and pro-actively maintain or enhance systems / infrastructure components and services, maximizing use of available resources, to ensure that infrastructure is in vendor supported and standards-compliant state.
• React quickly and as necessary to test and live systems issues and service problems to minimize downtime and restore service. Key focus will be required upon identification of root cause and implementation of a permanent fix.
• Act as a technical SME. Provide advice and guidance to team and projects on technical matters. Participate in design reviews, script reviews and implementation reviews. Participate in discussions and provide inputs for messaging strategy for Barclays.
• Be accountable for individual or team or department results, and for the impact of the results on functional activities. Participates in overall departmental program planning

Requirements:

• Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Kafka technology.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Kraft, Kafka security protocols, and connectors.
• Good to have knowledge in Python, Go Lang, Java, and understanding of software development.
• Familiarity with administration of IBM MQ, IBM App Connect Enterprise, AMQ, and other messaging technologies is advantageous.
• Knowledge of automation technologies i.e., CHEF
• Experienced / knowledge of a range of infrastructure principles and offering i.e., Cloud.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
