RSM USI is hiring for the role of Industrial Goods AS Sr Associate 1!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understanding clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values, and industry-related IFRS or GAAP and GAAS issues
• Developing and demonstrating an understanding of the RSM audit approach, methodology, and tools
• Performing audit procedures and tests in accordance with the RSM audit methodology based overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed.
• Identifying areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues; discuss with engagement teams to solve issues that arise.
• Researching technical accounting issues
• Developing industry expertise
• Preparing audit reports, and management letters
• Exercising professional skepticism, and judgment and adhering to the code of ethics while on engagements
• Ensuring that documentation is compliant with the quality standards of the firm
• Working collaboratively as a part of the team and communicating effectively with RSM audit professionals
• Provide supervision and development training for associates
• Taking ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clients
• Providing timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables
• Ensuring professional development through ongoing education
• Participating in a range of projects and open to collaborating and working with multiple teams; demonstrating critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and timely completion of work.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Commerce/MBA
• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• 2-4 years of relevant experience working in an accounting and audit-related field
• Strong technical skills in accounting including IFRS or GAAP and GAAS
• Strong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word and PowerPoint
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication (English) as the position requires frequent communication with RSM International clients and the United States-based engagement teams
