Micron Technology is hiring for the role of Indirect Category Supplier Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Supporting complex, global, and regional process transformation supporting Global Procurement.
• Supporting projects and programs using an organized and results-focused approach to achieve all goals within budget, timeline, and scope constraints.
• Participating in cross-organizational teams to define, build, and implement business process solutions that increase efficiencies, improve standardization, and optimize procurement services.
• Regularly report out on project status, manage risks, and implement solutions to ensure successful project implementation.
• Implementing processes to monitor collaborator satisfaction with key suppliers
• Recommending targets to enhance value such as high revenue, spending reduction, purchasing efficiency, customer services, and supplier management
• Providing market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal collaborators
• Applying should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace
• Analyzing sourcing trends and make recommendations for assigned categories
• Identifying and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers
• Developing and ensuring demand service level and safety stock attainment are met.
• Establishing methods for measuring and monitoring program performance.
• Leveraging prior experience and learning to optimize and improve the efficiency of the methods.

Requirements:

• 0-2(maximum) years of experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering
• Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in O365 (Mainly MS Office Excel Intermediate analytical skills using functions such as Macro, Vlookup, Hlookup, Pivot, and Expose Formulas)
• Well-versed in project and program management methodologies and frameworks.
• Fluent in using data to make critical decisions and drive results
• Able to demonstrate strong communication skills to convey complex issues concisely and accurately to all levels
• Experienced in negotiations
• Capable of having a global perspective and a positive attitude that is well-suited for working across different regions
• Able to demonstrate an aptitude for business acumen and data fluency, leveraging insights to make data-driven decisions
• Agile in adopting new tools and ways of working towards improved business outcomes.
• Able to lead without authority and collaborate with an inclusive approach across geographical and organizational cultures to achieve collective success for Micron
