In-force Management Expert Job in Bangalore at Swiss Re

Swiss Re is hiring for the role of In-force Management Expert!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborating closely with global In-force Management teams and also with other stakeholders e.g. claims, underwriting, finance, market units etc.
• Proactively analyzing and monitoring the P&C Re In-force portfolio with a strong knowledge and understanding of Swiss Re's data and systems.
• Delivering in-depth insights into portfolios and business risks to stakeholders at both Product and Market levels enhancing portfolio sustainability and resilience on a regular and ad hoc bases.
• Designing and implementing effective and creative solutions using portfolio analytics to monitor and steer portfolios through cross-functional collaboration as a champion for Operations.
• Analyzing and interpreting financial results under the various valuation methods used within Swiss Re.

Requirements:

• Highly motivated, engaged, proactive, and an excellent team player.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the Property & Casualty (Re)insurance industry with a good working knowledge of how the industry works.
• Strong analytical skills and high proficiency with numbers and data. Background in mathematics, actuarial science or other quantitative discipline could be suitable.
• Excel skills in financial modelling.
• Experience with computer programming and working with complex datasets would be a plus.
• Preferred experience in Power BI, with the ability to design, develop, and interpret dashboards and reports for business insights.
• Strong relationship-builder who engages effectively with others, fosters commitment, and maintains a cross-functional perspective while constructively challenging peers in and outside Operations.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
