Harman International is hiring for the role of Ignition Software Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Craft robust Ignition applications for SCADA, process automation, and Power Apps integration.
• Integrate PLCs, HMIs, drives, and other industrial devices into a cohesive ecosystem.
• Leverage SQL, OPC UA, and IoT protocols to collect, analyze, and visualize critical data.
• Automate workflows and processes, boosting efficiency and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to bring projects to life.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or any other relevant field in engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and scripting languages for automation and data manipulation.
• Expertise in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and HMI/SCADA design.
• Understanding of safety devices programming and industrial safety protocols.
• Ability to analyze complex systems, identify bottlenecks, and implement innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a dynamic environment.
