Erricson is hiring for the role of Solutions Architect!

Responsibility of the Candidate:

• Develop and architect end-to-end solutions for telecommunications projects that encompass Kubernetes, 5G Core, Openstack, Openshift, Cloud Native, and Cloud RAN technologies.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technology stacks and components to meet project requirements and ensure compatibility and scalability.
• Lead the design and implementation of 5G Core network functions, ensuring high availability, low latency, and optimal performance.
• Utilize CNIS, Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms like Openshift to manage, deploy, and scale containerized applications in a telecom environment.
• Excellent working knowledge of NR NSA/SA Solutions in LB/MB/HB.  
• Hands-on with virtual deployment and Ericsson 5G RAN troubleshooting with e2e call flow.
• Good understanding of O-RAN/Cloud RAN-based solutions (vDU,vCU) and Architecture.
• Good Understanding of 5G RAN products & Solutions. 
• Good understanding of different layers of 5G, LTE (FDD/TDD) protocol Stack.
• Good Understanding on LTE EPC, 5GC, CS / PS core/vEPC.
• Good understanding of IP networking.
• Oversee the configuration and maintenance of Openstack for virtualized network functions and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals that align with customer requirements, while also considering the technical feasibility and cost implications.
• Assess the feasibility and profitability of telecom projects. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to the management team.
• Analyze the cost-effectiveness of telecom solutions, including equipment, services, and infrastructure. Evaluate and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Stay informed about telecommunications regulations and ensure that the organization complies with relevant laws and standards. Create techno-commercial reports and presentations.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, ensuring clear and effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and management.
