About this Job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Employee Lifecycle Management:

  • Handle end-to-end HR operations from employee onboarding to exit.
  • Manage documentation, joining formalities, induction, and background verification.
  • Process employee separations, conduct exit interviews, and maintain exit records.

2. Employee Relations & Grievance Handling:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
  • Provide effective solutions and escalate complex issues to senior HR when required.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

3. Attendance & Compliance Management:

  • Ensure accurate attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.).

4. Employee Engagement:

  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
  • Drive employee connect sessions, R&R (Rewards & Recognition) programs, and team-building initiatives.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions with employees to improve workplace satisfaction.

5. Store/Warehouse Visits & HR Audits:

  • Regularly visit retail stores, warehouses, and fulfilment centres for employee interactions and HR compliance checks.
  • Conduct spot checks and audits on HR-related processes and hygiene standards.

6. Recruitment Support:

  • Support in hiring frontline employees for stores and warehouses.
  • Coordinate with recruitment partners and hiring managers for manpower fulfillment.

Key Requirements:

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in HR operations, employee handling, and engagement activities.
  • Prior experience in Retail, FMCG, Warehouse, or Quick Commerce industries preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Hindi & English (local language is an advantage).
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRMS tools.
  • Should be comfortable with field work and regular travel within the city (store/warehouse visits).
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • The Gujarati language is an advantage.

  • Must have a proactive approach with strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as per business needs.
