Syneos Health is hiring for the role of HR Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Respond timely to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, pay, benefits, vacation, leaves, recognition, performance management, and general company policies, escalating when needed.
• Support employment lifecycle activities like onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, leave tracking, payroll and benefits setup, ensuring a positive employee and manager experience.
• Apply working knowledge of company policies and local employment laws to guide employees and managers on common and complex issues.
• Contribute to process mapping, process improvements, and SOP documentation to deliver consistent and accurate HR services.
• Support internal audit requirements by maintaining employee files in compliance with laws and presenting audit findings with evidence.
• Manage and protect sensitive and confidential information with high integrity.
• Partner with other HR functional areas to support and execute programs and projects effectively.
• Participate in HR-related projects, providing insights and recommendations from the HR Shared Services perspective.
• Stay updated on HR best practices, employment laws, and technologies to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
• Create and use templates, processes, and correspondence suitable for routine and unique employment situations.
• Manage workload priorities effectively, adjusting based on volume and business needs, while engaging management for guidance when necessary.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in HR Operations or Shared Services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong MS Excel skills (V-Lookup, Pivot Table, etc.).
• Experience with HRIS systems (PeopleSoft preferred, Workday or similar ticketing tools).
• Knowledge of HR policies and local employment laws.
• Experience supporting employment lifecycle processes (onboarding to exit, promotions, transfers, payroll, leave tracking, etc.).
• Experience in HR process documentation and compliance.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask among competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Strong customer service skills while maintaining confidentiality; ability to build relationships balancing employee needs with business requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Behaves ethically and compliantly, encouraging the same in others.
