Wipro is hiring for the role of HR Recruiter!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Understand business projections and urgency of talent requirements across order and cadre demands, skill types (A/B/C), and volume vs. niche roles.
  • Create sourcing plans based on hiring channel mix and cost considerations.
  • Utilize job portals, consultants, and employee referrals to identify suitable candidates from the industry or within Wipro.
  • Facilitate the selection process with technical panels for shortlisted candidates.
  • Coordinate selection tests as required, including technical or programming assessments.
  • Conduct HR evaluation rounds and negotiate salary, position, and other terms with candidates.
  • Obtain necessary approvals from tower leads/heads, ensuring hiring aligns with Wipro’s salary ranges and minimizes exceptions.
  • Roll out formal job offers and coordinate offer acceptance with selected candidates.
  • Engage, motivate, and maintain relationships with candidates until joining.
  • Coordinate background verification with the HRSS team.
  • Communicate regularly with business teams and managers regarding hiring and joining status.
  • Conduct candidate connect and pre-hiring engagement activities to ensure a healthy joining ratio.
  • Adhere to Wipro guidelines, processes, and protocols related to responsiveness, clarity, compensation structure, SLAs, quality, and auditability in all communications.
  • Ensure zero valid escalations related to the hiring process.
  • Resolve candidate concerns and manage escalations promptly to avoid negative experiences.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the recruitment tool (Synergy) and upload candidate documents regularly.
  • Ensure weekly, monthly, and quarterly dashboards are updated and available for management review.
  • Conduct meetings with WMG teams to share updates on progress, risks, and issues, and seek support when required.
  • Follow recruitment checks and balances and conduct regular reviews with management to ensure data reliability, quality, and integrity.
