Barclays is hiring for the role of HR Portfolio Project Manager!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Managing and delivering projects/workstreams and activities through the appropriate project methodologies, driving continuous improvement throughout.
- Leading project communication and change engagement. Effectively connect, and coordinate problem-solving efforts between teams influence project stakeholders at all levels, and provide regular status updates.
- Designing and conducting project/workstream governance. Actively identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAIDs) and manage change control processes for project revisions e.g. to scope, resource, time, cost, benefits, and outcomes.
- Ensuring clear and documented project artifacts e.g. project initiation, high-level and detailed plans, RAID logs.
- Managing transparent, accurate, and timely reporting across the portfolio, in line with Barclays Policies and Standards, including outcomes, benefits, cost, resources, status, and timelines. Complete program/project audits as required.
- Supporting the facilitation of key governance fora and track portfolio/program/project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, approvals, and change control.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to independently drive, and effectively mobilize and manage, multiple priorities/projects, using standard project methodology, and ensuring consistently high-quality delivery
- Graduate in any discipline
- Analyse problems and make decisions - commit to a course of action after identifying and assessing alternatives based on logical assumptions, facts, resources, constraints, and organizational values
- Relevant HR and project/change experience, with good exposure to operational, technological, and transformation services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to present and negotiate effectively, adapt style, and build a narrative to influence and gain commitment amongst internal and external stakeholders, while being a credible and trustworthy partner
- Customer-focused - identifies and meets the needs of customers by building productive and trusted relationships by providing value in ways that increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ability to shape, mine, and develop meaningful data insights to drive better-informed business decisions/solutions, and drive continuous improvement
- Good knowledge of MS Microsoft products, including PowerPoint and Excel, and knowledge of HR systems preferable i.e. Case Management, HR Capital Management
