TREK is hiring for the role of HR & Payroll Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and manage the HR Inbox in coordination with the HR Tracker.
  • Support recruitment by posting advertisements and maintaining open position accuracy.
  • Process team member updates, including new hires, employment changes, location changes, and salary revisions.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS systems such as Workday, Deputy, and ADP.
  • Coordinate with departments like Finance, Operations, Ascend, and IT to communicate employment changes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll.
  • Build and manage a strong relationship with the ADP Payroll Processing representative.
  • Process employee terminations accurately and efficiently.
  • Review and validate timesheet data including public holidays, leave, and loadings.
  • Coordinate with the finance team on reimbursements and employee account balances.
  • Assist the HR Services Manager with SOP creation.
  • Support internal communications through employee bulletins and emails.
  • Maintain and update the ANZ HR SharePoint site.
  • Lead and facilitate “TMOTM” (Team Member of the Month) program.
  • Respond to customer queries and issues related to Trek University, including setup and password resets.
  • Review and manage Trek University content specific to the ANZ market.
  • Support reporting and lead communications regarding Trek U.
  • Act as a PAF Program Champion and conduct bike training sessions for the Trek team.
  • Serve as the lead support for NICA-related initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent HR experience (preferred).
  • 2–4 years in administrative roles.
  • At least 1 year of experience in payroll processing.
  • Detail-oriented and task-focused.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Empathetic and curious in approach, delivering exceptional hospitality to internal teams.
  • Values-driven and collaborative.
  • Must be available for at least 24 out of 26 pay runs annually.
  • Willingness to work out of hours or on holidays to ensure timely payroll processing.
