Orangewood is hiring for the role of HR Executive!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • University Collaboration:
    • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key universities and colleges.
    • Organize and participate in campus recruitment events, job fairs, and guest lectures.
    • Coordinate with university career services to facilitate internships and co-op placements.
    • Implement innovative programs that enhance employer branding among student communities.
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Manage the screening of approximately 1,000 computer science candidates annually.
    • Utilize ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) to efficiently process and evaluate candidate applications.
    • Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
    • Collaborate with the technical department to refine job descriptions and qualification criteria.
    • Develop metrics to measure and improve the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work closely with internal teams to understand hiring needs and timelines.
    • Provide regular updates to management on recruitment progress and challenges.
    • Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and organizational policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, particularly in a high-volume, technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of university structures and the ability to build and maintain relationships with academic institutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment
  • A proactive approach and a keen understanding of the tech industry’s talent requirements.
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to implement creative recruitment strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence others.
