HPC Systems Software Engineer Internship in Bengaluru at Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring for the role of HPC Systems Software Engineer! 

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Architect and design scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native applications leveraging Kubernetes and other cloud technologies.
• Implement best security practices for Kubernetes microservices and optimize for performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps engineers, and system administrators to ensure seamless integration of cloud-native solutions.
• Utilize tools such as Terraform or Ansible for declarative infrastructure definition
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
• Implement infrastructure as code methodologies to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools, automation scripts, and frameworks to streamline cloud management operations and development processes.
• Participate and contribute in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions with internal and external teams.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
• Provide escalated support for complex technical issues.

Requirements: 

• Proven experience working as a Cloud Developer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role with a focus on Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and Go.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• In-depth understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) are desirable.
