HPC System R&D Engineer Job in Chennai at KLA

KLA is hiring for the role of HPC System R&D Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Identify limitations in current solutions, employing CPU and GPU clusters, to facilitate the implementation of AI-based solutions on both on-premises and cloud infrastructures at a large scale.
• Create system-level solutions allowing the expansion of image processing and AI workloads from a single GPU to multi-node clusters with multiple GPUs.
• Install, evaluate, and benchmark pre-release hardware for initial evaluation and prototyping by recognizing or developing pertinent workloads.
• Research contemporary HPC system software, such as new Linux distributions, for potential integration into KLA's tools.

Requirements:

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related fields; exceptional candidates with a bachelor's degree and relevant experience will also be considered.
• Profound knowledge of operating systems, computer networks, and high-performance applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of the architecture of modern distributed systems consisting of CPUs, GPUs, and accelerators.
• Experience in deploying deep-learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, on a large scale in on-premises or cloud infrastructures.
• Proficiency in container infrastructures like Docker or Singularity, and Kubernetes.
• Proficient scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Strong communication skills.
