Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Infrastructure & Application Support
- Manage cloud infrastructure ensuring optimal performance and uptime for all business applications.
- Coordinate and manage release deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
- Ensure comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and execution for all cloud- hosted applications.
- Oversee integration of Active Directory with core business systems.
- Implement and maintain secure VPN access (e.g., Instasafe) for CMS web and mobile applications.
- Provision and manage AWS EC2/RDS instances as per business and application demands.
- Conduct periodic AWS Well-Architected Reviews to ensure alignment with cloud best practices across reliability, performance, security, cost optimization, and operational, excellence.
- Implement and monitor AWS Cloud Cost Optimization strategies, including right- sizing resources, identifying underutilized assets, etc
2. IT Infrastructure Budgeting
- Prepare and manage the annual infrastructure budget.
- Establish cost control measures and monitor infrastructure spending.
3. End-User Software Management
- Maintain up-to-date software licensing across the organization.
- Prevent unauthorized software installations across systems.
- Maintain 100% inventory of software licenses using central tools.
- Ensure full deployment of endpoint security solutions.
4. Hardware and Network Operations:
- Ensure procurement and distribution of IT assets as per policy.
- Maintain accurate records of all IT assets with centralized tracking and barcoding.
- Manage branch infrastructure, asset lifecycle, and hardware configuration.
- Enable timely setup of new branches and offices.
- Oversee AMC/Warranty renewals and operational readiness of IT hardware.
- Implement centralized cloud backups and DR for critical services
- Drive adoption of new ITSM tools and upgrade DLP tools.
5. Information & Cybersecurity Compliance
- Revise and implement updated IT and Information Security policies.
- Optimize cloud firewall configurations (e.g., AWS).
- Address internal and external audit observations.
- Ensure security tools are deployed across all cloud and on-premise systems.
- Enroll critical IT systems with the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Monitor SOC alerts and ensure timely response.
- Manage access provisioning and revocation processes in line with policy.
- Conduct annual DR drills and routine backup/restoration testing.
- Apply monthly security patches across all production systems.
- Conduct user awareness initiatives on cybersecurity practices.
6. Vendor & Contract Management
- Ensure timely payments and renewals for IT service vendors.
- Evaluate and onboard new vendors as per third-party risk and security guidelines.
- Review vendor SLAs and ensure adherence to uptime and performance standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management with leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), security, networking, and enterprise IT support.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management in NBFC/Banking environments.
- Excellent communication, vendor negotiation, and team leadership skills.
- Certifications such as ITIL, AWS, or CISM/CISSP would be a plus.
