Orangewood is hiring for the role of Hardware Test Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop and implement test plans and procedures for hardware components such as PCB assemblies, power electronics, and embedded systems.
• Conduct functional, environmental, and reliability testing to validate hardware performance.
• Design and set up automated test systems and fixtures to optimize testing efficiency.
• Analyze test results, identify defects or performance issues, and collaborate with design teams to implement corrective actions.
• Document test results and create detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and software engineering for seamless integration.
• Stay updated with the latest testing technologies and continuously improve processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in hardware testing, including experience with automated test systems and tools.
• Strong understanding of functional, environmental, and reliability testing methodologies.
• Proficient in using test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and troubleshooting hardware issues.
• Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with robotics systems or embedded hardware testing.
• Familiarity with industry standards (EMI/EMC, safety testing) and compliance testing
