Hero is hiring for the role of Hardware Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Performing Two-Wheeler Telematics device selection and fitment.
• Understanding of different available telematics solutions in the market. Selection and finalization of the best telematics device available in the market based on trials and research.
• Supervising device installations in the fleet. Telematics device integration with all the applications requisite for operations. Hands-on experience would be preferred.
• Maintaining Model-wise SOP creation for device fitment & troubleshooting. Standardization of electrical components used for device fitment.
• Testing of all the features based on their actual application. Managing all the data related to testing & development.
• Doing Fleet management software management & its enhancement with the help of software teams.
• Preparing power distribution, ground distribution, communication architecture, and system circuits.
• Conceptualizing of vehicle wiring harness layout pattern.
• Maintaining 3D Layout of wiring harness and related components in CATIA V5.
• Wiring harness-related mounting. Preparation of 2D harness and related component drawing.
• Developing and evaluating wiring harnesses based on various HMCL standards.
• Optimizing cost and performance.
• Having Root cause analysis, countermeasure study, and simulation of various markets, assembly, or other quality problems.
• Identifying the right vendors and engaging with them for the best product fit.
