Hardware Discipline Engineer Job in Pune at Valeo

Valeo is hiring for the job role of Hardware Discipline Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform activities in compliance with the Engineering discipline Development Plan of his/her PG/PL.
• Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, and Specifications.
• In charge of the robust design/validation in line with the economic targets.
• Support technical architecture and standards assignments.
• Follow Standardization rules.
• Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers.
• Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules.
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation.
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies.
• Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests.
• Management follow-up.
• Reports the progress of his tasks.
• Escalate risks.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
