CRISIL is hiring for the role of Graduate Trainee - Finance!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Perform monthly and quarterly profit and loss (P&L) reconciliations and analyze discrepancies between various systems
• Verify trade economics against contract documents; handle trade validation and documentation
• Assess new private investments for appropriate accounting treatment and ensure accurate deal information in the data warehouse
• Ensure accurate booking of investment restructurings and proper integration into downstream systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Risk, Tax, Technology, and Accounting
• Prepare P&L statements and conduct ad-hoc financial analyses
• Review fair-valued prices and accruals on various financial instruments to ensure accurate P&L calculation
• Contribute to innovation initiatives such as workflow automation and data analytics to enhance efficiency
• Review and suggest corrections to reports by reconciling data between Accounting, Operations, and third-party administrators to ensure data integrity
• Perform reconciliation of Par, Cash, and Transactions; proficient in Excel
• Review daily cash reconciliations between prime brokers/custodians and client data warehouse to identify and assess breaks with potential P&L impact
