CRISIL is hiring for the role of Graduate Trainee!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Working with the team to support various activities in the credit risk value chain for a portfolio of corporates
• Supporting in surveillance of portfolios and preparation of event notes
• Supporting the team in MIS reporting activities
• Supporting in preparing credit reports and financial models based on fundamental analysis for a set of assigned credits/companies
• Undertaking research and analysis of an entity through a thorough assessment of its credit strengths and weaknesses and weighing its business and financial risk profile
• Preparing sections of credit assessment reports and elaborately discuss the company profile and credit risk considerations
• Preparing and updating detailed financial spreads/models encompassing financial analysis, capital structure analysis, calculation of key credit quality determinants, and financial projections (up to 7 years)
• Determining and recommending ratings to the entity based on the internal rating framework and methodology
• Supporting the team with any ad-hoc research requests including sector research

Requirements:

• Good understanding of financial concepts, calculation of key credit metrics, and capital ratios
• Good knowhow of accounting aspects
• Reasonable understanding of credit  
• Graduation completed
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Diligence and hard work
• Organization skills and the ability to manage and prioritize workload
• Good understanding of MS Office products
• Experience: 0-2 years
