Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical) Job in Bangalore at Molex

Molex is hiring for the role of Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design new products and modify the existing ones (mainly made of plastic like front grilles, Body Side Moulding, Rear Spoilers, TGH, etc) using CAD software (CATIA V5). Design from cradle to grave.
• Give support to the engineering team around the globe to ensure product quality fulfilling the Customer and Internal specifications in the timing defined.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design practices, processes, and tools to enhance team efficiency and product quality. Meet and understand all project Timing requirements and all customer deliverables.
• Ability to use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish the goals of the business unit/plant

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Automobile engineering or a related field.
• 0-1 year of work experience in the automotive industry (Exterior and Interior Trims)
• Basic Knowledge of CATIA V5
• Knowledge in the design and development process, manufacturing engineering, and plastic injection molding.
• Coordination, execution, monitoring, and solution of technical problems in projects.
• English Language skills required. Fluent in both spoken and written English    
• Proficient in CATIA V5 in all modules is highly preferred.
• Understanding the process of Teamcenter.
• Basic knowledge of Plastic product manufacturing in the Automotive sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deal effectively with all levels of management.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are a plus.
