Wood PLC is hiring for the role of Graduate Engineer Trainee - Equipment Engineering!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Carry out Engineering design work for a unit or units using Wood and Client design methods, standards, and data according to Project requirements.
• Incorporate data from Licensors into the process design of a unit or units.
• Participate in training programs to acquire knowledge and skills related to equipment engineering.
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support equipment engineering projects.
• Conduct research and analysis to understand equipment specifications and requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering documentation, including schematics and technical drawings.
• Participate in equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization activities.
• Support the implementation of new equipment and technologies in collaboration with senior engineers.
• Participate in equipment testing and validation activities to ensure functionality and performance.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines during equipment-related activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to equipment engineering.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

• Engineering Graduate in Mechanical Engineering (Essential)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong academic background and a passion for pursuing a career in equipment engineering.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
