Maxwell Energy Systems is hiring for the role of Graduate Engineer Trainee! 

Responsibilities of the Candidate

• Gain an in-depth understanding of Maxwell’s Battery Management System (BMS) solutions and the broader electric vehicle (EV) battery landscape.
• Leverage your knowledge of embedded systems, digital and analog electronics, and communication protocols to design, develop, and optimize BMS solutions.
• Apply expertise in communication protocols such as CAN, J1939, SPI, and proficiency in Embedded C and JSON for implementing effective BMS functionalities.
• Develop strong communication and analytical abilities to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely solutions for BMS-related challenges.
• Stay informed about industry standards and regulations (such as ISO26262, UL standards, and AIS) to ensure compliance and maintain high-quality standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BMS design methodologies, processes, and best practices within the organization.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in EV battery management technologies

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field, with graduation expected in 2024.
• Strong proficiency in embedded system engineering, digital and analog electronics, and communication protocols (such as CAN, J1939, and SPI).
• Advanced programming skills in Embedded C and familiarity with JSON for data exchange and Python for data parsing and analysis.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Familiarity with industry standards like ISO26262, UL standards, and AIS is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Self-driven with a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.
