Graduate Engineer - OLE Job in Bengaluru at WSP

WSP is hiring for the role of Graduate Engineer-OLE!

 Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Prepare rail overhead wiring layout and cross-section designs, using computer-aided design and drafting tools
• Ensure that the technical OLE matters are compliant with the technical specifications, applicable legislation, approvals and standards
• Ensure that all design drawings and documentation are effectively managed
• Practise good communication and cooperation with all internal and external parties to ensure that all requirements are met and effectively managed
• Identify and manage risks associated with the design and delivery of electrification engineering (design and consultancy) projects
• Ensure compliance with company safety and ethics policies
• Follow company quality and project management processes and procedures where necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum of a B.tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in OLE design
• Experience with CAD software(2D and 3D) , preferably MicroStation, AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Proven ability to communicate in English (verbal and written) effectively with all levels of management and staff
• Ability to schedule work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to
• Demonstrated understanding of rail electrification project life cycles
• Preferred experience with delivery of OLE engineering projects in a railway environment
• Understanding of ANZ-based engineering requirements
