Paypal is hiring for the role of Global Technical Support Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Working directly with developers, merchants, and our internal stakeholders & engineering teams to resolve post-integration issues. 
• Assisting in implementing payment APIs and commerce products, conducting test scenarios, and communicate technical issues to PayPal merchants and internal departments. 
• Developing in-depth technical documents for distribution to PayPal merchants.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline
• 3-4.5 years of experience in web development in one or more of the following:  Java, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, VB.NET, PHP, or Python.
• Experience in creating and troubleshooting web services, such as SOAP and REST
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, RESTful services & Front-end knowledge.  
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to PayPal merchants.
• Work cross-functionally with merchants & other internal stakeholders, & engineering teams.
