Global Process Owner - Projects Job in Mumbai at NEC

• Design and operate high-quality end-to-end, standardized processes that consistently deliver intended business outcomes and scale, with SAP implementation 
• Design the Project related processes that include project sales and accounting, time recording via timesheets, revenue recognition, project management, and scheduling, global projects with global resourcing, use of MRP for projects, and reporting 
• Develop, and obtain corporate approval (from GPOs/equivalent) & maintain all related policies, process documentation, and training materials 
• Create robust metrics (KPIs) to consistently measure the success of processes across all countries and enable the analysis of large data sets to facilitate trend and data-driven decision-making at the Executive Level 
• Drive process adoption across the organization, using a common role framework and structured change management approach 
• Plan, lead, and facilitate process initiatives to improve speed and efficiency of business, ranging in complexity from highly strategic to deeply tactical 
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain the stability of processes 
• Work closely with Master Data Management teams to ensure key data elements are structured, standardized, and consistent across the business 
• Work with functional leads to support testing activities, including functional unit tests, integration test(s), and user acceptance tests
• Own the Projects Roadmap in SAP selected integrating applications leading to continuous improvement; synchronize process improvements with other GPIOs
• Support design and implementation of the Global Finance Operations Transformation program 
• Ensure optimal use and adaptation of ERP/enabling technologies; owning the Technology Roadmap in partnership with centralized Projects teams and IT 
• Support identification and prioritization of Continuous Improvements impacting the Global processes Standards & Controls 
• Design people, process, and technology standards for end-to-end processes at the Enterprise level 
• Establish and maintain an appropriate control environment within Finance operations 
• Ensure development and implementation of standards that support the business needs 
• Provide Advisory, Reporting & Compliance (ARC) inputs into key accounting policies 
• Develop and maintain accurate operational procedures 

Requirements:

• Translating strategy into operational goals, objectives, and Projects process maturity roadmap 
• Significant experience and use of ERP software (SAP) and core, common satellite applications 
• Baselining and setting operational and financial KPIs to measure process efficiency and effectiveness and business benefits realization 
• Building business cases to quantify cost/benefit position of improving or redesign project initiatives
