Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Infrastructure design: Designing and architecting the collaboration platform infrastructure, taking into consideration scalability, security, and performance requirements.
- Platform implementation: Implement and deploy collaboration platforms such as video conferencing, messaging, telephony and contact center. Configure and integrate these platforms to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- System maintenance and troubleshooting: Monitor and maintain collaboration platforms to ensure high availability and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Integration and customization: Collaboration platforms often need to integrate with other systems such customer relationship management (CRM) software. As the Collaboration platform engineer, you are responsible for integrating these systems and customizing the platform to meet specific business needs. - Support and training: Provide support and training to IT personnel, helping them understand and effectively support collaboration platforms. Create documentation and respond to inquiries or issues.
- Performance optimization: Collaboration platforms need to perform optimally to ensure efficient communication and collaboration. You will need to execute performance analysis, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to improve the platform performance.
- Collaboration platform administration: Perform administrative tasks such as user management, access control, license management, and monitoring usage and adoption.
- Collaboration platform strategy and roadmap: Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT management to define the organization's collaboration strategy and roadmap. Assess the latest technologies and trends, evaluate vendor solutions, and make recommendations for platform enhancements and future improvements.
- Collaboration platform governance: Ensure that the collaboration platforms comply with data protection regulations, IT governance controls, standards, company policies, and industry best practices
