Goldman Sachs is hiring for the role of Global Banking & Markets-Associate!

Responsibilities of the candidate

• This role is focused on the buildout of analytics, logic, pricing tools and scalable workflows to incentivize optimal allocation of assets from HF Clients, improve the firm’s funding and capital efficiency, pricing and revenue optimization by analyzing large data sets and building quantitative models.
• Our teams work closely with securities lending, funding and the synthetics product desk in conducting transactions, and managing risk, identifying trade opportunities to improve our market and wallet share of the client franchise

Requirements:

• Strong academic in a relevant field - Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or Physics, including a quantitative understanding of statistics and probability
• Strong programming skills in a modern programming language (C++, Python, Java or equivalent language) and familiarity with object-oriented design principles
• Ability to work as part of a global team and deliver results quickly
• Previous practical experience in solving mathematical/statistical/machine learning problems or data engineering and relevant infrastructure buildout
• Comfortable working on multiple projects, demonstrating initiative and showing commercial impact
