GL Junior - Senior Staff Accountant Job in Pune at Sutro Li India Pvt Ltd

Sutro Li India Pvt Ltd is hiring for the role of GL Junior - Senior Staff Accountant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Candidate will be responsible for accounting in cloud software for US-based clients
• Follow all the agreed processes and procedures & complete the tasks on time, accurately and completely
• Assists in the preparation of monthly management reports and accompanying schedules, worksheets, and narratives, including "Budget vs. Actual" variance reports
• Understanding the promised service to the client
• Posting and processing entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded in cloud software for US-based clients
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Assists in the preparation of monthly management reports and accompanying schedules, worksheets, and narratives
• Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned
• Maintain Project Log, update trackers for the Senior Accountant
• Escalate the issues and report wherever required

Requirements:

• The candidate must have a B. Com / M.Com degree with the
• Any additional qualification in the field of accounting will be an added advantage ( CA / MBA )
• At least 2 years experience in a similar industry
• Preference will be given to BPO/KPO background
• Excellent knowledge of Accounting & Excel
• Knowledge of accounting in cloud software will be preferable
• Ready to work in fluctuating shifts
• Should have good written and spoken English
• Auditing experience will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of cloud software such as Xero, and QuickBooks will be preferable
• Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, or similar programs
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with a high level of difficulty
• Strong analytical and accounting skills
• Ready to work in fluctuating shifts
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Conversant in the differences between US Based for-profit and nonprofit accounting needs
