Anaxee Digital Runners is hiring for GIS Analyst!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Leverage your GIS expertise to monitor maps and visualize complex data through interactive maps using Mapbox API or other similar tools for various projects, including agroforestry and carbon credit monitoring.
- Land Use and Land Cover Classification
- Apply your skills in remote sensing to collect, analyze, and interpret satellite imagery for real-time tracking of agroforestry activities.
- Perform analysis to uncover insights related to soil quality, irrigation status, crop condition, species identification, and more.
- Utilize tools like Mapbox API, QGIS, and other GIS software to create interactive and user-friendly map-based portals.
- Communicate findings and insights through compelling visual presentations and reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, and Geology.
- Strong experience in working with satellite datasets
- Familiarity with tools such as Mapbox API, QGIS, and other GIS-related software.
- Familiar with working in Google Earth Engine
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate them into actionable insights.
- Excellent Written and Oral communication skills.
- Respect for deadlines
