About:

Burns & McDonnell India (BMI) Energy Division is looking for well-rounded and driven Mechanical Designers to support in the Mumbai Office. The Energy Division focuses on power generating facilities which offer a wide range of design and project execution experiences. Our talented team provides engineering and CAD services to support Civil, Electrical, I&C, Mechanical and Structural disciplines for power generation projects. The team has extensive experience in both conventional and renewable power generation projects ranging from reciprocating engine, simple cycle, combined cycle, CCR/ELG, cogeneration, electrical upgrades, control upgrades and solar. BMI Energy is ISO 9001:2015 certified and committed to excellence in project execution for making our clients successful. In order to grow our team and to support upcoming projects, we are hiring experienced personnal in our Mechanical Department

Responsibbilities of the Candidate:

• Focus on map making, spatial analysis, or software development.
• Primary duties include using mapping software to analyze spatial data and design digital maps.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Geoinformatics/Remote sensing/Geography/Geodesy or related fields
• 0-1 year of work experience in Geographic Information Systems
• Fundamental Knowledge of GIS software like ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS online
• Experience in open-source GIS software is a bonus
• Programming knowledge in languages like python, SQL and Open-source spatial database is a bonus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
