General Manager Job in Nainital at Rosefinch Hotels

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and guest services.
• Ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources to meet guest needs and achieve operational goals.
• Develop and manage the hotel's annual budget, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Foster a guest-centric culture to ensure exceptional guest experiences and high levels of satisfaction.
• Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and seek resolutions to ensure guest satisfaction and retention.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage a high-performing team, setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback.
• Promote a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and recognize employee achievements.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and occupancy.
• Oversee health and safety protocols, security measures, and emergency preparedness to protect guests, staff, and assets.
• Oversee maintenance and renovations, ensuring the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and updated to meet guest expectations and industry standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hotel industry.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue management.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Proficiency in relevant hotel management software and computer applications.
• Knowledge of local and international hospitality industry trends and best practices.
