General Ledger Accountant Job in Ahmedabad at TTEC

TTEC is hiring for the role of General Ledger Accountant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with the monthly and quarterly close process.
• Prepare data for audits and support external auditors.
• Ensure statutory compliance and prepare MIS reports.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
• Review and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to prepare, review, and post accurate journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial reports and ensuring error-free submissions.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements and experience in maintaining regulatory adherence.
• Experience in supporting annual audits and preparing tax return documentation.
• Capability to review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills to present results clearly and work with external auditors.
