Blackrock is hiring for the role of Gen AI Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Conduct research in emerging areas of Generative AI and apply findings to financial datasets, including both public and private data sources, to address business challenges.
• Serve as an expert in large language models and natural language processing for financial data.
• Collaborate with domain experts and modelers across teams to support the development of BlackRock’s Investment AI team’s models for clients.
• Develop LLM applications using prompt engineering, agents, and fine-tuning as needed.
• Support the internal validation process through benchmarking analysis, user engagement, and comprehensive model documentation.
• Create end-to-end MLOps/LLMOps pipelines for continuous monitoring and improvement of LLM applications.
• Additional responsibilities include working on synthetic data generation techniques, and other advanced methodologies.
• Keep yourself updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI and suggest new/innovative solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master’s level education with a focus on statistics, mathematics, engineering, climate science, or economics
• Project experience with the modern Transformer/Attention architecture for text summarization, vectorization, entity extraction, and reasoning
• Experience with emerging LLM products from Open AI, Google, and other industry leaders.
• Experience in Python & related frameworks/libraries needed for NLP/LLM’s, knowledge of algebraic modeling languages.
• Experience with advanced statistical modeling for outlier detection, estimation of missing data, and generation of synthetic data.
• Experience in various modeling techniques such as balance sheet modeling, econometrics / statistical analysis, and mathematical optimization, is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• 3 years of experience in building natural language processing solutions for challenging real-world financial data.
