Capgemini is hiring for the role of GCP GenAI Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Build and deploy LLM‑powered applications using Vertex AI, Gemini models, and Model Garden.
• Develop end-to-end prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, and model evaluation workflows.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using Vertex AI Search / Vector Search / BigQuery.
• Build scalable chatbots, assistants, summarization, classification, and automation workflows.
• Architect production-level AI systems leveraging GCP services (Vertex AI, GKE, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for ML (Vertex AI Pipelines / Cloud Build).
• Optimize model performance, inference cost, latency, and security.
• Prepare and process data for experimentation and fine‑tuning.
• Design scalable data workflows with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage.
• Ensure governance, quality, and compliance in AI datasets.
• Work with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into AI-powered features.
• Document architecture, design decisions, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong hands‑on experience with GCP services including Vertex AI, IAM, Cloud Run, GKE, and BigQuery
• Expertise working with LLMs such as Gemini, Llama, Mistral, or similar
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit‑learn
• Understanding of RAG systems, vector databases, and prompt engineering
• Experience with fine‑tuning models (LoRA, PEFT, supervised tuning)
• Familiarity with MLOps tools like Vertex AI Pipelines, Kubeflow, or MLflow
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Clear and effective communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
• Comfort working in agile development environments
