Comprinno is hiring for the role of GCP DevOps Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Applies DevOps thinking – i.e. brings and IT ops processes, people and tools closer together – in order to increase the speed, efficiency and quality with which we deliver technical solutions to our clients.
• Architects a project or programme Deployment Pipeline; the set of technical and business assurance activities that support the transition of application and infrastructure services from development to production.
• Defines and executes a balanced management methodology that is capable of organizing a diverse collection of technical activities into a coherent workstream.
• Liaises with Comprinno and client development teams, IT service groups and 3rd parties to encourage process transparency, mutually-beneficial design and delivery practices, and a clear view of roles and responsibilities across the Deployment Pipeline
• Provides DevOps thought leadership and mentoring in both advisory and delivery contexts, focusing on the requirements of our clients’ customers and how these are best served by continuous improvements to our delivery approach.
• Mentoring junior team members, and guiding them for application platform development

Requirements:

• Very good written and verbal communication skills for expressing technical ideas and initiatives
• Designing, deploying and operating highly available, scalable and fault tolerant systems using leading cloud platforms
• Wide and detailed understanding of each of GCP services
• Good understanding of prominent cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP cloud
• Implementing Organizational DevOps strategy in various operating environments
• Writing Infrastructure as a Code using frameworks like terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager etc.
• Implementation of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools like Jenkins, CodeBuild, Google Cloud Deploy & Artifact Registry to merge development with testing through pipelines.
• Automation using Configuration Management tools like Ansible
• Skills to set-up Docker container infrastructure to encapsulate code into a filesystem with abstraction and automation.
• Hands on experience with docker orchestration framework like Kubernetes, Swarm
• Exposure to build tools like MAVEN and bug tracking tool like JIRA in the work environment.
• Experience with installation of GCP gsutil to control various GCP services through SHELL/BASH scripting.
• Experienced in version control and source code management tools like GIT
• Good knowledge in relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB.
• Experience with Shell or Python scripting to automate regular tasks
• Experience with various operating systems like Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows, CentOS.
