Futures First is hiring for the role of FX Markets Analyst!
Responsibilities of a Candidate:
- Design and develop algorithmic strategies with short holding periods to generate alpha while dealing in Cash FX/Futures in both G7 and EM space
- Support market-making of FX futures on multiple international exchanges
- Develop relative value strategies between FX and STIR instruments
- Analyze market trends, and financial data & rigorously back-test strategies
- Continuously refine and optimize algorithms based on market feedback
- Collaborate with the technology team to implement strategies
Requirements:
- Possess a degree in a highly analytical field, such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science from top schools (IITs, BITS, etc.)
- At least 2 years of experience in FX markets and a good understanding of the FX ecosystem including Spot FX, NDFs, FX Swaps, FX & STIR Futures
- Excellent analytical, quantitative problem-solving skills and strong work-ethics
- Technology skills – Ability to code in C++ & back-test using Python or other tools
