Responsibilities

• Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
• Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
• Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deployment
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities

Skills

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Strong Experience in Next JS, React.JS and NodeJS are must
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and databases like MySQL
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills
• Experience in unit /integration testing
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools like Gitlab, Bitbucket or Github
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Strong knowledge and experience in achieving high performance web pages that are fully mobile responsive.

Good-to-Have

• Experience in Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
• Familiarity with SCRUM as a development method for Agile Development.
• Passion for web technologies and a desire to remain up to date with the latest technologies.

General:

• Must have strong communications skills in English - significant exposure directly to customer (written and spoken)
• Process Analysis skills to understand the requirements end-to-end and be able to determine customer needs vs. wants.
• Negotiation skills to be able to present technology limitations and agree with customer on workarounds.

• Must be willing to work on US/UK shifts
